A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of working as stylist for designer Lily Schlosser of Eli & Barry jewelry, based here in Denver. Today, as the Eli & Barry Spring collection officially debuts, I wanted to launch my own creative venture: Rogue Closet. After a few years away from Los Angeles where I worked for many years as a buyer, and with a recent Art History degree under my belt, I decided to merge the two paths.
I have always been inspired by fashion and the power that comes from expressing oneself through clothing. To me, it is another form of art- an art that oftentimes evolves along with the person wearing the clothes. My look has certainly changed over the years, but remains an important method of self-expression. I created Rogue Closet to help other people evolve their look, and to put their truest selves forward with the pieces they choose to wear. The relationship you have to your clothing should be a happy, rewarding partnership!
I hope to have more to post in the weeks to come but In the meantime, the shots below are some of my favorites from the photo shoot. Be sure to visit the Eli & Barry website to add some punch to your spring look! Also, Goldyn provided the clothing (amazing shop in the Highlands if you haven't checked it out); Nicolette Bardos is the talent behind the lens, and Liza Nielsen is the beauty who captured the essence of Eli & Barry.
